Sloclap finally revealed when crossplay will be added to Rematch. Here is everything you need to know about the release date, and how it will work.
During the beta period, Sloclap insisted on ensuring crossplay was ready for launch, but didn’t promise it. The game ultimately didn’t launch with the feature, but the development team emphasized it is one of the “top priorities”, and they would “share an ETA as soon as possible”.
Crossplay not being available at launch was, and continues to be, an issue due to the importance of cooperating with teammates. Rematch strategically features a stamina bar, limiting how long a player can hold the ball. So as a result, passing is a must, and if you aren’t on the same page as your teammates, the other team will easily force turnovers and punish you. This wouldn’t be an issue if you were always able to play with your friends, but not having crossplay makes that impossible for some users.
Does Crossplay Have a Release Date in Rematch?

In an update that also includes player reporting, crossplay is finally scheduled to arrive in Rematch in around 6-9 weeks.
Sloclap made this announcement in a blog that was released on July 18. Based on that timeline, crossplay will be available in Rematch anytime between August 29 and September 19.
With that in mind, fans still have a long wait ahead of them, but at least there is an official time frame now. In addition, Sloclap released a roadmap to keep fans engaged in the meantime.
Sloclap confirmed that mouse and keyboard improvements are at the top of the priority list, and an update is coming soon to introduce mouse sensitivity settings for tap, as well as WASD as a tap aiming input method option.
“We see a lot of requests for ranked 3v3 and 4v4,” Sloclap admitted. “We probably will not add two new competitive queues right away, since this can split the player base and have an impact on matchmaking queues, but we are currently estimating the work to be done to release a new one in a couple of months.”
Slocalp also plans to improve ranking matchmaking to reduce queue times, while maintaining team balance, ensuring that teams won’t be too unevenly matched.
