To celebrate summer, Epic Games unveiled the Road Trip event in Fortnite. Before jumping in, here is everything you need to know about the start date and how to earn every reward.
Epic Games employees have returned from summer break, and the development team has made the wait worthwhile. A collaboration with Fantastic Four, coinciding with the release date of the new movie, is coming. In addition, Chapter 6 Season 4 is expected to start on August 8, and the update will reportedly add new weapons and POIs on the map, themed around an alien invasion.
Fortnite also reportedly has a ‘6-player’ squad mode in development, allowing players to add even more friends to their party. Before looking too far ahead, though, let’s jump into what fans can expect from the Summer Road Trip event.
Fortnite Party Up Summer Road Trip Start Date
Fortnite Party Up Summer Road Trip starts July 22 at 9 a.m. ET and wraps up August 7 at 2 a.m. ET.
Each day features a new Summer Road Trip quest with a reward to earn. The Summer Road Trip Quests will be completable until August 7, giving players plenty of time to squad up and get everything done.
All Fortnite Summer Road Trip Rewards
Daily quests will alternate between two different missions.
- Earning a certain amount of XP in creator-made experiences in a party with friends.
- Earning a certain amount of XP in “By Epic” experiences in a party with friends.

- Complete 1 Summer Road Trip Quest: “The Zephyr Song” Jam Track by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- Complete 2 Summer Road Trip Quests: Appeeling Drive Spray.
- Complete 3 Summer Road Trip Quests: Cool Sun Emoticon.
- Complete 4 Summer Road Trip Quests: Sunset Vibes Wrap.
- Complete 5 Summer Road Trip Quests: Sushi Scuba Spray.
- Complete 6 Summer Road Trip Quests: The Quack Axe Pickaxe.
- Complete 7 Summer Road Trip Quests: Jelly Jammin’ Spray.
- Complete 8 Summer Road Trip Quests: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Bundle (Car Body + Decals + A Set of Wheels!).
- Special Quest! Favorite the creator of an experience (a.k.a. “island”): Rubber Ducky Banner Icon.
Fortnite & Rocket League Crossover Explained
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Car Body, Decals, and Wheels are eligible for cross-game ownership with Rocket League, meaning you can earn them in Rocket League as well.

- Sea Wolf Gray Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Decal.

Additional Fortnite rewards can be earned in Rocket League by completing the following tasks.
- Play a private match with custom mutators during RL’s Summer Road Trip: League Balloon Glider (Make your descent on top of an ultra-inflated soccar ball!).
- Get 15 saves or epic saves in Online Matches during RL’s Summer Road Trip: Hairpin Outfit (After all the road tripping, look the part of a pro driver!).
